Lithography Print-Titled "Medusamy"-from Aluminum Plate
In this print our assignment was open ended on what the subject matter could be. I really love mythology and fantasy so what better way to portray that, then to turn myself into Madusa. Cleverly named after Madusa and myself, Amy, Madusamy was created using a variety of process including a photographic ink transfer for my face and shoulders, hand drawn snakes using a greasy oil based pencil and ink washes for the background texture.
