Interactive Web Design - Student Project

The assignment was to find a image book to scan and animate using HTML and CSS. I chose 5 pages from the children's book Down by the Station by Jennifer Riggs Veter for it's color palette as well as it's potential for cool animation. All the text is activated with my digitally altered voice reading the story. Each page has motion and sound related to the page. For instance, the excavator's bucket moves up and down and makes a rumbly engine sound. This was one of my favorite projects and sparked my love for web based projects and motion design.
